Tuesday Warm-Up In your warm-up tell me the characteristics of the following governments: Democracy Absolute Monarchy Dictatorship How are these types of governments similar and different? Give me some examples of these forms of government both past and present.

Democracy Democracy is a form of government in which the people have a say in how the government operates, either through direct control or elected representatives.

Absolute Monarchy An absolute monarchy is where a king or queen has absolute, or total, control over all parts of the government and society

Dictatorship A dictatorship is where one man has control over all aspects of society.
