The returned oil pumps were checked (at Herrmann and Hoval). In the process it was discovered that 2/3 of the oil pumps were OK. Before the gears were made out of steel. The sintered gear sets are more sensitive as the ones made out of steel because there are an increased abrasion. Therefore the following notes have to be kept in mind: Correct dimmenssioning of the oil pipe ! Tight oil pipe ! During commissioning of the plant the oil has to be suced with the manual pump.
