BC2 Commissioning Parameters Value Comments RF rate 30 Hz Beam rate ≤30 Hz 10-30 Hz e- beam as baseline – possible 120-Hz tests at end of run Drive-laser rate 30 Hz during e- commissioning - shutters provide lower e- rate – possible 120-Hze tests at end or run Bunch charge 250 pC Start at low charge in BC2/linac – later raise back up to 1-nC to study high charge Drive-laser pulse length 6 ps fwhm 6-ps fwhm startup at low charge with later settings of 10-ps at 1 nC Final beam energy 13.6 GeV 13.6 GeV typically with tests down to 4.3 GeV May 12, 2007
