Bubby the Beagle and his Bone By Juely Faqueda and Daniel Jones

Bubby was an ordinary beagle Bubby was an ordinary beagle. He would play, run, and do other beagle things. However, there was one thing that changed about Bubby.

Bubby was given a special bone. His bone was white and very delicious Bubby was given a special bone. His bone was white and very delicious. He earned it by being a good boy.

Bubby was so grateful. He ate with it, slept with it, and was never without it.

Bubby loved his bone very much. He knew he would never want to lose it Bubby loved his bone very much. He knew he would never want to lose it. He never thought that he would be without his bone.

One day, another dog tried to take Bubby’s bone One day, another dog tried to take Bubby’s bone. This pupper was mean and vicious. However, Bubby was not ready to take a stand. He ran away.

The other pupper eventually got tired and left Bubby alone The other pupper eventually got tired and left Bubby alone. But he had told about Bubby’s bone and now all the puppies were after it.

Bubby decided that if he wanted his bone to be safe, he should bury it somewhere. Burying the bone made Bubby sad because he wouldn’t get to play with it anymore. But he knew it was to make the bone safe.

Bubby felt sad without his bone Bubby felt sad without his bone. But he knew the time away from his bone would be worth it if he wanted it to be safe. He would get his bone back when all the other puppies forgot about it.

When Bubby thought enough time had passed he ran outside to go find his bone. He was so excited to be able to play with it again.

But when Bubby went to the spot where he buried his bone, he dug and dug but he couldn’t find it. So Bubby was very confused. So he went to another spot and started digging.

Bubby dug and dug and dug but he couldn’t find his bone anywhere and he started to get very sad. But Bubby never gave up hope. So he kept on digging and he wasn’t going to stop until he found his bone.

After a while, it got dark, so Bubby had to go inside After a while, it got dark, so Bubby had to go inside. He was very sad and didn’t know if he would ever find his bone.

The next day, he went outside and kept digging The next day, he went outside and kept digging. He made so many holes in the ground but he wasn’t going to give up. He felt so close to finding his bone when...

His friend Buddy walked up next to him with his bone His friend Buddy walked up next to him with his bone! At first Bubby was mad but then Buddy told him some other puppies saw where Bubby buried his bone. So Buddy took it and hid it so they wouldn’t be able to find it. Bubby was so happy!

Bubby learned that real friends will protect what you love as much as you would protect it. He also learned to never give up hope, because sometimes a little faith can go a long way. Bubby played with his bone and shared it with Buddy. Together they kept other puppies away from their bone and were very happy.
