Timor-leste service learning tour 26 June – 4 July

Overview of Tour 10 students, 5 staff Support 2 kindergartens Becora Comoro Teach lessons, maintenance Sightseeing Becora is the smaller of the two kindergartens, where we spent one day teaching lessons and cleaning the rooms. Comoro is the larger of the two kindergartens, where we spent three days teaching lessons and painting the enterior and interior of the classrooms. For the last two days we did some sightseeing around Dili, and snorkelled some of the best reefs Timor has to offer.

Challenges: - language barrier - heat - poverty/history Highlights: - the children - seeing another part of the world - learning to be more independent - improved self confidence
