3.3- Controlling Aggression Who is responsible for controlling aggression? What methods can be used?

Why do we control aggression? Non-productive for the individual or teams… Sin-binned or sent off during game Causing injury to another brings themselves, team and even sport in to disrepute Fines Loss of sponsorship Loss of endorsements

Whose responsibility is it? Individual Significant others Responsible for our own actions Forming your own personal code Sporting ethics Personal morality Social norms Recognising when feeling aggressive and acting accordingly Over-aroused Setting the standard of behaviour Provide environment in which this can develop Parents Coaches Team Managers NGBs, Clubs and Sport England Ensure High profile performers are POSITIVE role models.
