STOCK MARKET CRASH OF 1929

THE GREAT DEPRESSION

UNEMPLOYMENT WAS AT 25%

THE GREAT DEPRESSION EFFECTED THE DEVELOPING (POOR) WORLD THE MOST

THE NEW DEAL -SOCIAL SECURITY -UNEMPLOYMENT -THE MINIMUM WAGE TO COMBAT THE GREAT DEPRESSION IN AMERICA PRESIDENT FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT STARTED THE NEW DEAL, WHICH WAS A COLLECTION OF GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS AIMED AT HELPING THE POOR. THE NEW DEAL -SOCIAL SECURITY -UNEMPLOYMENT -THE MINIMUM WAGE

THE BAD GUYS:THE AXIS POWERS GERMANY, ITALY AND JAPAN WORLD WAR TWO (1939-1945) THE BAD GUYS:THE AXIS POWERS GERMANY, ITALY AND JAPAN THE GOOD GUYS: THE ALLIED POWERS AMERICA, ENGLAND AND RUSSIA AMERICA IS NEUTRAL AT FIRST, AGAIN!

FASCISM DICTATOR RACIST VIOLENT ULTRA-NATIONALISTIC NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH ETC.

ADOLF HITLER OF NAZI GERMANY

MUSSOLINI OF FASCIST ITALY

EMPEROR HIROHITO OF JAPAN

JAPAN GETS VERY IMPERIALISIC EVEN BEFORE HITLER ALTHOUGH THEY WERE INDUSTRIALIZED, JAPAN HAS VERY FEW NATURAL RESOURCES, AND SO IS STILL DEPENDENT ON EUROPE AND AMERICA FOR OIL, COAL ETC. THEY ALSO FEEL INFERIOR! THEY TAKE OVER: MANCHURIA (1931) MAINLAND CHINA (1937) EUROPEAN COLONIES IN INDONESIA, MALAYSIA, FRENCH INDOCHINA (VIETNAM) THE PHILIPINNES THEY LEAVE THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS (WHICH DIDN’T DO ANYTHING ANYWAY)

ONLY AFTER WE STOP SENDING THEM OIL (AN OIL EMBARGO IN 1941) DO THEY BOMB PEARL HARBOR ON DEC. 7TH, 1941

CAUSES OF WWII THE GREAT DEPRESSION MADE EVERYONE POOR THE TREATY OF VERSIALLE LEFT GERMANY REALLY POOR HILTER WAS A RACIST ITALY AND JAPAN WERE FASCISTS, MEANING THEY WERE EVEN WORSE THAN COMMUNISTS THE WORLD APPEASES, OR SATISFIES HITLER, BY LETTING HIM GET WHAT HE WANTS

TIME-LINE OF WWII GERMANY TAKES AUSTRIA-MARCH, 1938 ENGLAND AND HITLER SIGN THE MUNICH PACT OF 1938 (THIS IS ENGLAND APPEASING HITLER) HITLER AND STALIN SIGN THE NAZI-SOVIET PACT GERMANY IS GIVEN A PIECE OF CZECHOSLAVAKIA KNOWN AS THE SUDETENLAND (MORE APPEASEMENT) GERMANY GOES AHEAD AND TAKES THE REST OF CZECHOLSVAKIA-MARCH, 1939 SEPTEMBER, 1939 UH-OH….GERMANY TAKES POLAND!!!!!!!! WORLD WAR II HAS BEGUN!!!!!

OF COURSE, HITLER DOES THE STUPIDEST THING IN THE WORLD BY ATTACKING RUSSIA AND JOSEF STALIN

AMERICA ANETRS THE WAR AFTER PEARL HARBOR AND WE LAND 150,000 TROOPS IN FRANCE ON D-DAY.

HITLER COMMITS SUCIDE

WE DROP 2 ATOMIC BOMS ON HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI

1. WE HELP EUROPE WITH THE MARSHALL PLAN AND WE REBUILD JAPAN WHY? 2. WE ALSO SET UP NATO: THE NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY OPRANIZATION BETWEEN US AND EUROPE 3. WE CREATE THE WORLD BANK TO HELP COUNTRIES THAT ARE BROKE. WHY?

EVEN MORE DEATHS THAN WWI MANY CIVILIANS TOO, NOT JUST MILITARY CONSEQUENCES OF WWII EVEN MORE DEATHS THAN WWI MANY CIVILIANS TOO, NOT JUST MILITARY RUSSIA LOST THE MOST, JUST LIKE WWI CHINA GOT HIT HARD TOO. EVEN NEWER TECHNOLOGIES (ATOMIC BOMB) WOMEN JOINED THE WORKFORCE THE DEVELOPING WORLD WILL WANT INDEPENDENCE!

WE CREATE THE WORLD BANK AND THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND

AT THE END OF WORLD WAR ONE, PRESIDENT WOODROW WILSON, ALONG WITH 14 OTHER COUNTRIES, SET UP THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS. THIS WAS AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION THAT WOULD THEORETICALLY STOP WORLD WARS BECAUSE IT SAID “IF ANYONE ATTACKS ANY COUNTRY, THEN ALL THE OTHER COUNTRIES WILL GO TO ITS DEFENSE” OF COURSE, WHEN HITLER INVADES AUSTRIA AND CZECHOSLOVAKIA, THE WORLD DOES NOTHING, THEREBY APPEASING HITLER AND SHOWING THAT THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS IS A FAILURE, AND WORLD WAR II WILL BEGIN.

WE ALSO CREATE THE UNITED NATIONS IN MANHATTAN
