WHAT ARE BLUEBONNET BOOKS? WHAT IS THE TEXAS BLUEBONNET AWARD? http://txla.org/TBA

BLUEBONNET RULES STUDENTS MAY READ BLUEBONNET BOOKS INDEPENDENTLY. STUDENTS MAY HAVE BOOKS READ TO THEM BY TEACHERS OR MOTHER READERS (ONLY 5). STUDENTS CAN READ WITH PARENTS, SIBLINGS, OR READ WITH YOUR FRIENDS. 

BLUEBONNET RULES IF STUDENTS READ BOOKS INDEPENDENTLY OR WITH SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE TEACHER, THEY MUST FILL OUT A QUIZ. TEACHERS SHOULD EMAIL MRS. LANDRY WHEN THEY HAVE READ A BLUEBONNET BOOK TO THE CLASS. NO QUIZ IS NEEDED. MRS. LANDRY AND MRS. QUIROGA WILL KEEP RECORDS OF ALL BLUEBONNET BOOKS READ.

QUIZZES STUDENTS MUST ANSWER A 10 QUSTION QUIZ ABOUT EACH BOOK. YOU MUST ANSWER 8 OF THE 10 QUESTIONS CORRECTLY TO GET CREDIT. ANSWER THE QUESTIONS AS YOU READ THE BOOK!!! WHERE ARE THE QUIZZES? IN THE LIBRARY IN A PINK CRATE OR ON THE HASSLER LIBRARY WEBSITE http://classroom.kleinisd.net/default.aspx?Hassler%20Library
