Highly water soluble peglated polypepoids Polypeptoids bearing oligomeric ethylene glycol side chains with different molecular weight have been synthesized through ring opening polymerization of the corresponding monomers. The obtained peglated peptoids are quite water soluble, which render them potential use in biomedical and biotechnological field. For example, they can be potentially used as antifouling material in implantation or drug delivery technology. Besides, the peglated peptoids exhibit amorphous property with Tg well below room temperature. Currently, we are investigating the synthesis of N-substituted N-carboxyanhydride peglated monomers and their corresponding polypeptoids. Sunting Xuan
