Electromagnetic spectrum Lesson Element

Task 2 A brand new top of the range phone which comprises of many new apps has been released. It is the unveiling of the highly anticipated new Mars S6. Your task is to design a marketing brochure for the new phone. You will be given information on some of the apps that are included.

Amazing new Mars S6 Torch Tan in your hand app Wi-fi Bluetooth Funny bones app Camera

Torch Contains different settings so the brightness can be changed.

Tan in your hand app A portable tanning bed. Allows you to tan whilst you walk.

Wi-fi This allows the phone to connect to the internet and has the fastest internet connection of any phone.

Bluetooth Connect to share with family and friends.

Funny bones app Do you have a broken bone or a sprain? Don’t worry the app allows you to check out your own bones.

Camera 12 MP with 12 x optical zoom. The camera also has a setting which allows you to take pictures using night vision and heat detection.

10 Design a marketing brochure for the new phone. Your brochure needs to include information on the following: SUCCESS CRITERIA I can suggest how electromagnetic waves could be used for different applications for the phone. I can explain the advantages of each application. I can use the key words; frequency, wavelength, wave, hertz. I can describe the properties of each wave (size of wave, frequency). I can say which type of electromagnetic wave each application uses.
