Special Education Teacher Goals: To help students teach themselves how to learn more effectively & independently. To convince and show students that school is real, and is worth your time and effort. To enable you to experience the satisfaction of earning your marks/credits. Favourite course to teach: Learning Strategies and Resource (Why?)

Everybody has weaknesses I have a learning Disability

Low Working Memory Unlike most people’s, my working memory is not functioning at maximum capacity This means I may make a few mistakes once in a while But if you follow my lead and work hard, despite a disability you can achieve your goals.

My Role as a Teacher Philosophy: To push others beyond their habitual capabilities and customary understanding, by enhancing their skills and confidence. Roles: Guide – show you how to reach your potential Project manager –help you manage homework Server – attend to your needs as they arise

Nothing except your absolute best is acceptable I’ll do my best so I encourage you to do yours

Personal Values These are values I try to base my life on Hard work – the backbone to success Honesty – be true to yourself & don’t break your word Respect – the start to making every interaction positive Improvement – try to make things better Risk taking – get out of your comfort zone Efficiency – waste nothing, maximize productivity

Why am I telling you all of this?

Remember You think school is bad, try farming…and what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger 
