Academy students will be enrolled full time at Kellogg Academy Enrollment Survey says… 74 Respondents 6 specifically stated they did not want to enroll at host school Scheduling and Transportation Logistics Academy students will be enrolled full time at Kellogg

Daily Schedule Extended Day for Academy Students 8:00 – 4:00 PM -Wallace Students will be transported from JWMS- Period 1: Language Arts or Social Studies Period 2: Language Arts or Social Studies Period 3: Academy Period 4: Encore Wellness or World Language Period 5: Academy Period 6: Lunch with 7th Graders Period 7: Academy Period 8: Academy Period 9: Academy

Curriculum Introduction to biomedicine, biomedical engineering, and various medical fields Emphasis on inquiry and project-based learning Investigations of biological concepts, including human body systems and other living things Exploration of scientific and medical research. Broad overview of professions in medicine and healthcare. Authentic learning and real world experience through guest speakers and field trips

Application & Lottery Process Application Mailed out to families around March 24th Expectations Student Information, Letter of Interest, Teacher Recommendation Completion Return completed application by April 4th Lottery Students will be notified by phone and mail. We encourage all students who have a strong interest in science, math and biomedical themes to apply to the academy.

Facility Final plans are completed Construction to begin in May
