Their cross sectoral influence with many disciplines such as for instance tourism, health, construction, environment and transport has exponential spillover effects for the development of strategic business. ClusSport Consortium The objective of the consortium formed by 8 regions (Lapland (FI), Kainuu (FI), Valencia (ES), Catalonia (ES), Flanders (BE), South Netherlands (NL), Auvergne-Rhône Alpes (FR), Upper Austria (Au) and Dalarna (SE) is to help strengthening the sport industries at EU level, following a bottom-up approach, implemented through interregional cooperation, cluster participation and business involvement, as well as aligning specialisation profiles of the partner regions.
