© Queen’s Printer for Ontario, 2003 1 The Planner provides consistent templates to help you record the various types of resources (1) used in units. You save time in the long run since you can copy an existing resource (2) from one unit to another. You only have to record a resource once! 2

© Queen’s Printer for Ontario, 2003 2 3 1 4 All environments use similar procedures to view the Resources template. Click the “+” symbol (1) on the template for either the unit (2) or a specific subtask (3) and attach resources. Click the trash can (4) to remove a resource.

© Queen’s Printer for Ontario, 2003 1 BLM 2.4 Music Web Quest Tab 2 3 All resource templates have similar conventions. You: enter information into boxes/fields; use the TAB key to move quickly from box to box; click action buttons specific to the template; click the ADD ANOTHER button to add a similar resource without leaving the template. The next slides describe how to complete each resource template and give tips on using the template effectively. 4

© Queen’s Printer for Ontario, 2003 1 2 3 In the Rubric Template, identify the rubric title (1) and describe the rubric’s scope and/or purpose (2). Click View Rubric (3) to open the rubric you have already created. TIP: Create as specific title for the rubric as possible (e.g., identifying the subject/course, unit, or grade) to help you retrieve rubric from the rubric library (see next slide).
