Mentoring Circle - Background A pilot mentoring circle program was developed in 2014 by the Membership & Nominating committee. The year-long mentoring program was administered through 6 mentoring circles which consisted of 2 mentors and 6-8 mentees. Each mentoring circle held one in-person meeting at the GFA Professional Development Conference (PDC) and several monthly meetings by teleconference. The teleconferences included a structured curriculum, developed by the M&N subcommittee, on GFA and AAMC resources, including the AAMC website, the GFA listserv, GFA subcommittees and other relevant programs.
