Title Page Should Include: Name Date Block Name of your experiment BE CREATIVE!
Introduction/Background Should include: The purpose of your experiment What are you trying to accomplish? Your hypothesis Simply state your prediction and EXPLAIN why you made that prediction based on your research. Information This ties into the reason why you chose your hypothesis. It also should introduce the concepts of chemistry involved in the experiments.
Procedure Should include: The steps of your experiment. It should be detailed enough for ME to repeat it without looking anything up. It should be in order. It should be EXACTLY what you are going to do. It can change. Add or Take away steps or details as you conduct your experiments. Make the changes in your final lab report.
