25 March–3 April 2008 in Bonn, Germany Block Course The United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) organises a interdisciplinary block course entitled “From Vulnerability to Resilience in Disaster Risk Management” for Ph.D. candidates starting their studies. This block course focuses mainly on water-related hazards (floods, tsunamis, storm surges), vulnerabilities and associated risks. Deadline for registration is 15th of March 2008. For registration please fill the form at www.ehs.unu.edu or contact Vilma Hossini (hossini@ehs.unu.edu) Positions will be filled on the first-apply-first-accepted basis. Travel expenses, local transportation, hotel accommodation, meals and daily subsistence will not be borne by UNU-EHS.
