Google Slide PRESENTATION SS EXIT PROJECT Google Slide PRESENTATION

DIRECTIONS Create a Google Slide show based on your Research Paper. You must include at least 3 people, events or decisions in your Slide Show (See the Models at the End of this Presentation) The Title of your Presentation will be your Essential Question Your Presentation should be at least 6 slides long You need to include text (using a bullet point format) and visual aids (pictures, etc) (You should not need to do much more research- Use your Extensive Research Notes !) Your last slide should be a concluding slide that explains something important that you learned while completing your Exit Project See the next 3 slides on what to include in your Presentation See the last 6 slides for a Model Presentation

People (Guiding Questions that you should address) How was this person involved in the struggle for Civil Rights? Was he or she a part of any organizations that worked for Civil Rights? Which group of people was he or she fighting for? When was this individual active in the struggle for Civil Rights? Was this individual a part of any protests or other events that involved trying to obtain Civil Rights? What effects did this person’s actions have on the Civil Rights movement?

Events (Guiding Questions that you should address) What individuals or groups were a part of this event? Explain what happened using specific details. Where and When did this happen? Why did this event happen? What were the effects of this event? How did this event relate to the struggle for Civil Rights in the United States?

Decisions (Guiding Questions that you should address) What were the circumstances leading up to this decision? Explain the specific details relating to the Supreme Court Case if this was a judicial decision. Explain the process leading up to a Legislative Decision. Analyze the effects that this decision had on the citizens of the United States

Write a brief description of what your Presentation entails. Attach your Slide Show to your Discussion. Read and comment on at least 5 presentations. Your comments need to be insightful and must prove that you did view the presentation. You will be graded on your participation. (The more presentations you view and comment on; the more points you will receive)
