Course Outline Assessment This course is designed to immerse students in digital technologies through eSports. Students will develop their capacity as an eSports team, run Live Video Streams covering events including eSports, and develop webservers to host student developed content. Assessment The course is assessed on three areas: Digital Systems, the understanding of how software and hardware combine to move, secure and store data. Data and Information, being able to use analysis techniques to analyse and process data into meaningful information.

eSports, Teamwork and Collaboration Topics Covered eSports, Teamwork and Collaboration You’ll be plunged into the international community of eSports, analysing the evolution of sports into a truly global platform. You will engage in various role, including competitor, coach, commentator, and technical roles to broaden your understanding of how IT is used in the 21st century. Server Development You will install the operating system, secure and configure a webserver. This webserver will be used to collaborate with your class; to showcase your project work; to promote your eSports team, and to engage with the global community.
