Game Story Abstract Solid Snake-type character gets marooned on an island similar to the island from the show LOST Agent must escape island by finding GPS device Island inhabitants are hostile towards the Agent and are the main opposition of the game Similar Metal Gear and LOST characters appear throughout the game
Appearance Two-dimensional side scroller Player walks off right hand side of screen and reappears on the left side in a new area
Player Roles and Actions Player’s main goal is to escape the island Player sub-goals are to defeat level bosses and survive enemies, as well as find necessary items to defeat bosses/pass through special areas Actions include: Running Sneaking Melee attacks Shooting attacks Jumping
Strategies and Motivations The Agent has sneaking skills and experience Can sneak up on enemies and not alert them to his presence Firing a weapon (own or enemy), running, and being within an enemy’s vision will cause the Agent to be spotted Various weapons/items can be found, some items allowing the Agent to sneak better (cardboard box, silencers, etc)
Level Summary Three levels: Each level ends with a boss fight: Beach Jungle In the “Hatch” Each level ends with a boss fight: Ninja/Gray Fox (from Metal Gear Solid) Smoke Monster (from LOST) Liquid Snake/Metal Gear (from Metal Gear Solid)
Story Progression “Spoof” Game Story won’t make much sense until the end, and even then it still won’t make complete sense However, each boss fight will reveal something to the player The Agent will still be in contact with his “Colonel” (Colonel Campbell) who will also help progress the story
