There are few bright line rulings as to what constitutes acceptable use of copyright work in online courses. In general, the principles of fair use that govern the quantity and type of materials used in face to face classes also apply to online and blended classes. Use the calendar restrictions available in most online teaching programs to mimic the durational aspect of classroom access.
