His Enthronement With His ascension and glorification, Christ was exalted by the Father to sit in the throne with Him “Sit thou on My right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool” – Ps 110:1 The N.T Emphasizes the exaltation of Christ because it fulfills the main office of OT times

Seated As PROPHET – He is the word and TRUTH of God As PRIEST – He is the reconciler, mediator, advocate and intercessor As KING – He is the ruler, governor of the universe As Judge – He is the discerner and rewarder of all mankind

Seated 5. As LORD – He is the enthroned and exalted God-man, worthy of all praise, adoration and worship He came in His first advent as Prophet, He rules and reigns - Now as Priest and King and He will return the second time as JUDGE

Apostles Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and buried. He descended into hell.
