Background Inclusivity become global issue, more people has great concern on inclusivity United Nations: Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with 2030 agenda UNESCO highlights the fundamental contribution of quality, inclusive education at all levels and to the importance of lifelong learning opportunities for all One of the key points of the agenda is the acceptance for development of inclusive community which means that people has equal access to education

Inclusive UNESCO 2030 Agenda: leaving no-one behind that includes ending poverty in all its forms and reducing poverty within and among countries refers to an inclusive group or organisation that tries to include many types of people and treat them all fairly and equally (Cambridge Dictionary)

Manifesto Public Library (IFLA, 2001) states that the services of the public library are provided on the basis of equality of access for all, regardless of age, race, sex, religion, nationality, and language. Specific services and materials must be provided for those users who cannot, for whatever reason, use the regular services and materials, for example linguistic minorities, people with disabilities or people in hospital or prison This means: public library also has promoted inclusivity related to library services

Questions What competences librarians should have to serve inclusive society/users? How to achieve those competences? How LIS schools prepare students to work in inclusive environment?

IFLA: to develop curriculum we have to consider constituencies being served and responsive to the needs of the country and should be consistent with the values of its parent institution UIN Sunan Kalijaga as inclusive university Students with disabilities in LIS LIS Alumni work in inclusive institution: lack of knowledge on inclusivity Stakeholders: LIS Sunan Kalijaga should provide Human resources that qualified to work in inclusive environment

LIS Dept UIN Sunan Kalijaga Under graduate program (4 years program) Start in 2002 but previously we have developed 3 years program The courses consist of required and elective courses

LIS Curriculum: 7 clusters organisation of information, collection management, library and information services, language, research methodology information technology information generation

Course content: 1. Introduction to Cultural Studies focuses on the basic understanding of culture Theories of culture 2. Documentation of Local Culture: Goal: to enable students to preserve traditional culture that are not well documented yet through documentation of local culture Topics: theory of information organisation, types of information sources, information preservation and conservation, Javanese culture,

Inclusive Library The goal: to equip students with deep understanding of inclusivity in terms of library services and management Topics: 1) types of users and their information need 2) introduction to information retrieval tools 3) information sources 4) library facilities 5) library design 6) evaluation of information sources 7) information skill

4. Media Technology Goal: to provide information through creating information sources, included for users with specific information need (included users with disabilities) that make them have access library service and collections. topics related to information producing such as open access, media technology, media processing software, and compression data technique. Addition: involving LIS students to reproduce textbooks to accessible book format for users with visual impairment (in university library)

5. Professional Ethics in Librarianship Goal: to empowers students with interpersonal skill that is required in workplace primarily when students have to deal with diverse users Topics: professionalism, teamwork, ethical code, and the awareness of the importance of professional association

6. Information in Social Context Goal: to introduce students with new issues on librarianship Topic: issues on information relating to social and cultural aspects

Conclusion Library and Information Science of UIN Sunan Kalijaga has developed curriculum that considers the values of parent institution, inclusive campus, through offering six courses which is its content consists of inclusive values. Although LIS Program has developed curriculum which indicates inclusive values through several courses but unfortunately three courses are elective courses, Inclusive Library, Media Technology and Documentation of Local Culture.
