What is The DIGITS Project? An innovative and interactive program designed to increase the interest of sixth graders in STEM subjects and careers– a goal shared by TEC and TECET. 18 month development cycle produced a kid-friendly, engaging logo, an array of branded elements, and a corps of STEM volunteers – TEC was involved from Day One in this first-ever cross-discipline STEM effort - Abbie served on the Executive Committee with representatives of software, telecom, biotech, medical device, and energy sectors. Supported by the Mass Dept of Elementary and Secondary Education (who would like to see this incorporated in state’s STEM Plan) and the Mass Association of School Superintendents.
