Pentecost – 50th day The great feature of the celebration was the presentation of the two loaves made from the first-fruits of the wheat harvest (I am the Bread of Life). Till the Pentecostal loaves (Jesus, Body broken) were offered, the produce of the harvest might not be eaten, nor could any other firstfruits be offered. The presence of the spirit Tabernacle – presence, no personal power for people Temple – presence, no personal power for people Jesus – embodiment of tabernacle/temple: promise & power – “I am” (Gospel of John) The Lamb - Blood Water – cleansing and thirst. Bread – “I am the Bread of Life” Candlestick – “I am the Light of the World” Incense – mystery of intercession between heaven and earth (Jn 14-17 – the Intercessor) Tapestry – rent, no blockage to the Father. “My God and your God, My Father and your Father” Ark of the Covenant – God and Man together in Christ – Immanuel. Pentecost, New Temple – presence and power Fulfillment of all sacrifices, promises and prophecies. Jesus provides, Holy Spirit produces

What the Spirit of Pentecost does: Manifests the Kingdom of God “In” us for power to live His life… “Now he is with you but then he shall be in you .” “Upon” us for power to do his works on the earth. “you shall receive power….” He extends the rule of the King to all Creation. Trumps all other agendas and ideologies: “Is this the time the kingdom will be restored to Israel?” No! “Wait for the power of the Holy Spirit. “Acts of the Holy Spirit” Creates Family for all people Commissions and empowers every believer to be Kingdom conduits

Inviting the Holy Spirit Acts 2:17 (NIV) 17  "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. “ Joel 2:28-31 Romans 8:14  ”because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” Slaves and orphans are deafened by other voices than the Spirit. Reject forming opinions of him on the excesses of others Partial belief gets partial results: “not for today!” Signs and wonders “follow them that believe.”
