For Jehovah will judge his people” (Deut 32:35-36) We live under the N.T. law of God. “Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath (of God): for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord” (Rom 12:19; cf. Mt. 6:38-39)

Conclusion… Lessons To Be Learned: May we heed the words of this great hero of faith to his son Solomon.. 1 Chron 28:9 “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.”
