Program Completed (2017-18) 1. IEDC: Krishna Engineering College has been sanctioned a grant of Rs. 8.0 Lakhs for developing 05 innovative projects and contingency to meet out the expenses of IEDC. All the five projects have been developed namely: Smart Power Guard Margdarshak Smart Tank Smart Eye YETI

EDI : A grant of Rs 14.5 Lacs under DST-NIMAT project from EDI, Ahmedabad has been sanctioned to conduct the following programs to create techno-entrepreneurs and resource persons through Entrepreneurship Development Programs strategy. 6. CST-UP: One student’s project “Pipe Cleaning Robot” has been approved for a grant of Rs. 20,000/- by council of Science & Technology, UP

Proposal submitted/ in pipeline Proposals for conduction of EAC,EDP,TEDP & FDP have been submitted to EDI, Ahmedabad and sanctioned a grant of Rs. 13.5 Lacs. INSPIRE Internship Camp (2018-19): Proposal has been submitted for organizing the 2nd INSPIRE Internship Camp to DST, Govt of India and approval is in process. PMKVY-TI (2018-19): Proposal for skill development program under PMKVY-TI has been submitted for following skill sectors: (i) Lathe Operator (ii) CNC Operator – Turning (iii) Fitter fabrication (iv) Helper Mason (v) Asst. Mason (vi) Domestic Data Entry Operator (vii) Domestic IT Help Desk Attendant

4. IPR: A proposal has been submitted to ministry of MSME to organize 2- days workshop on Intellectual Property Right at KEC 5. A proposal for 2-days symposium on Research Methodology has been submitted to Science & Engineering Research board, Govt. of India. 6. Three teams have participated in Student’s start up Nidhi program under NIDHI-EIR.

7. Five innovative project teams participated in DST-Texas Instruments competition held at IIM, Bangalore and out of these, one team has qualified for finals at National level. 8. A proposal to establish TBI under UP IT & Startup policy is submitted. 9. An ASPIRE-TBI proposal is also in pipeline for submission. 10. To have a new startup/ Incubatee at our campus, we are providing the infrastructure facility at our campus to create entrepreneurial culture within the campus.

Future Plans To mobilize consultancy from industries in MSME sector located in the region. Strengthening of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell. Creation of awareness on Start-up India, Stand-up India and Make in India. Creating awareness on cashless economy and Swatchch Bharat amongst students to provide innovative solution. Creation of Counselling Cell to provide mentorship to budding Entrepreneurs. To host “Dr. Kalam Start up Parikrama” at KEC in the month of Sept’2018. To establish TBI under UP IT and Startup policy. Call of proposals for incubation project under MSME, Govt. of India.

Propose Green Building concept to nearby SMEs and motivate them to implement it. Identify methods and develop a standard plastic-less packaging. Promote SMEs to implement it. Motivate students to shift their orientation from job-seeker to entrepreneur and work on at least one innovative idea and try to sell in the market before leaving the institute.
