What is NetStorage? Novell NetStorage provides the solution for simple, Internet-based access to file storage. NetStorage is a bridge between a company's protected Novell storage network and the Internet. It allows users secure file access from any Internet location - with nothing to download or install on the user's workstation With Novell NetStorage, a user can securely access files from any Internet-enabled machine. A user can copy, move, rename, delete, read, and write files between a local workstation and a Novell storage network. This means that access is available from any Internet-attached workstation, anywhere in the world. There is no need to e-mail or copy data from one machine to another. 11/17/2018

Accessing your P:\ (Personal) Drive HOME@NURSING_TREE & DRIVEP@username are your home directories. 11/17/2018

NOTE: Please ignore the “iFolder” Folder. 11/17/2018

Adding Files to your P:\ Drive Click on “DriveP@username” or “HOME@NURSING_TREE” Click the File Menu Click on “Upload…” 11/17/2018

Adding Files to your P:\ Drive Click on the Browse button to locate the file you wish to upload… 11/17/2018

Adding Files to your P:\ Drive Locate the Files you wish to upload to your P:\ Drive Click “OPEN” 11/17/2018

Adding Files to P:\ Drive Now click “UPLOAD” to copy your file from your computer to the P:\ on the Nursing Server Please Note: Connection speeds may vary due to size of the file and/or internet connection speed. 11/17/2018

File Functions MOVE: moves file to another folder in MyFiles. COPY: copies file to another folder in MyFiles. DOWNLOAD: copies to your local computer. Please use “Download for Viewing” option. DELETE: deletes a file from your MyFiles. RENAME: renames your file. 11/17/2018

Downloading a File Right click on the file you wish to download Click on “Download for viewing” 11/17/2018

Download a File Click Save 11/17/2018
