Course Objectives Review and critically appraise current scientific research in human stress and coping Delineate the historical evolution of scientific literature in stress and coping Identify contemporary theories of stress and coping including transactional model, social support, self-efficacy, and sense of coherence Discuss the epidemiology of stress as a risk factor and of stress-related disorders
