Share.ﾊParticipants will "explore" digital resourcesﾊto enhance global learning and cross-ﾊcultural collaboration. Ideas on how toﾊplan, "create", implement, and assessﾊglobal awareness programs for studentsﾊand teachers will be presented. Anﾊeducatorﾕs global journey is "shared" toﾊinspire innovation and leadership inﾊteaching students better understanding ofﾊthe world.ﾊ

“Global awareness” is identified as a significant, emerging content area critical to success in communities and workplaces. Six keys Elements of 21st century learning- one is teach and learn 21st century content. According to the report on 21st century skills, education and business leaders identified three significant Emerging content areas that are critical to success. Global awareness Financial, economic and business literacy Civic literacy Much of this content is not captured in existing curricula or taught consistently with any depth in schools today.

Promotes understanding, tolerance and acceptance of ethnic, cultural, religious and personal differences. Deepens understanding of thinking and actions of different cultures, countries, and regions. Children today live in a world of unlimited streams of information, opportunities, choices Help make meaningful connections, teachers can create a 21st century context for learning By:
