Ideas on how toハplan, "create", implement, and assessハglobal awareness programs for studentsハand teachers will be presented. Anハeducatorユs global journey is "shared" toハinspire innovation and leadership inハteaching students better understanding ofハthe world.ハ

“Global awareness” is identified as a significant, emerging content area critical to success in communities and workplaces. Six keys Elements of 21st century learning- one is teach and learn 21st century content. According to the report on 21st century skills, education and business leaders identified three significant Emerging content areas that are critical to success. Global awareness Financial, economic and business literacy Civic literacy Much of this content is not captured in existing curricula or taught consistently with any depth in schools today.

Promotes understanding, tolerance and acceptance of ethnic, cultural, religious and personal differences. Deepens understanding of thinking and actions of different cultures, countries, and regions.
