SCOUT SNIPER TEAM LEADER COURSE Purpose: To train students in the advanced skills associated with the billet of team leader within a Scout Sniper Platoon. Task List: 2500 Level: Advanced Combat Marksmanship Advanced Weapons Employment Sniper Operations Patrolling Reconnaissance and Surveillance Special Application Scoped Rifle Methodology: Scout Sniper Team Leaders Course provides Marines with the training and education in mission planning and sniper operations needed to perform the duties of a Scout Sniper Team Leader. Course curriculum includes employment considerations in the offense, defense, and urban environment, mission analysis, combat orders, overlays, fire support planning, combat reports, and leading scout sniper missions. Additional instructions provided in precision shooting includes, operating a ballistic computer, loop-hole shooting, and multiple moving/limited exposure target practical application engagements. Course Length: 6 Weeks / 26 Training Days
