Ambition and Drivers SG Climate Change Plan Policy Outcomes: Transport Policy outcome 2: Proportion of ultra-low emission new cars and vans registered in Scotland annually to reach or exceed 40% by 2032. How can you use this to better leverage funding?

Q: What funding stream(s) are most applicable to what you want to achieve? What can your organisation offer as match funding where applicable?

Procurement Engage with your procurement teams early. Sustainable Procurement Strategies and Tools provide opportunities within the area of Sustainable Travel e.g. Key Travel. Following the proper procurement process has its benefits when issues inevitably occur. Q: What opportunities do the recent changes in public sector procurement legislation provide to your organisation in the area of sustainable travel?

Charge Points Installations You can trust contractors as far as you can throw them. Know your subcontractors. Liaise with site users as regularly as necessary. Involve your Procurement Team when you want to escalate things. Q: What issues do you see/foresee with charging point works at your organisation? What can you do now to lessen the risk and impact of these issues?

Delivery and Preparation of Vehicles Is there a single location that you can have vehicles delivered to? Speak to your local dealership. Organise RFID cards and any branding or telematics well in advance. Q: If you were to get an EV delivered to your organisation what would you need to do before anyone could drive it? Can you be organising any of that now?

Launch and Training EST Switched On @ Work test drives. Contractor handover. In an ideal world what would an EV launch look like at your organisation? Are there any organisations that can help you make it happen?

Monitoring and Evaluation Metered data – are the charge point supplies metered? Mileage – telematics? SSN Carbon Footprint and Project Register Tool Q: What is your monitoring and evaluation plan for EV use and carbon, energy and cost savings?

Reporting SSN Climate Change Reporting Organisational Travel Plan What are the different reporting streams that you need to gather information for? Does your Monitoring and Evaluation Plan make this easy?
