PROJECT ON SOIL STEWARDSHIP October 18, 2017

Procedure / what to do! 1. Go back to the postcard activity that we had last week. Remember the state and the type of soil you have chosen http://forces.si.edu/soils/interactive/statesoils/index.html 2. research about your location state and include the following in your research : soil composition, parent rock of soil, environmental stressors, soil properties, agriculture suitable to grow in your soil, best practices in agriculture to sustain your farm

Your product! Newsletter about your farm that discusses how you maintain your soil quality and other stewardship practices you perform Your newsletter should also contain the facts that you have researched about soil composition, parent rock of soil etc. ( look at your paper)
