Active Noise Cancellation Spring 2015 Team E: Andrew Taylor, Aman Sanghera, Zach Rohde, Tanner Brunhoeber, and Peter Gordon Project Concept & Objectives Example/Graphic Image The device will reduce noise by at least 10 dB between 100 Hz and 5 KHz up to 10 feet directly in front of the speakers. The device will be portable and easy to use The device will be 120 VAC powered. Client: Kevin Player Plan of Action Projected Timeline Construct anechoic chamber for initial testing Develop algorithms for active noise cancellation Implement and program DSP microprocessors with the active noise cancellation algorithms. Ensure hardware functionality and compatibility Design and build a structure to contain the device
