Expectation #1 Be in your assigned seat and working on the assigned bellringer immediately after the tardy bell rings.

Expectation #1 You will lose bellringer points for the day 23 seconds after the tardy bell rings. SECONDS

Bell Ringer SAMPLE Name 2 things you like about history To NOT lose your points, within 23 seconds after the bell you should: Be SITTING in your assigned seat Silent Have phone put away NOT have ear buds in ears Have your bell ringer sheet OUT Be COMPLETING your bell ringer Name 2 things you like about history Name 2 things you hate.

Expectation #2 Bring ALL books and materials to class and take them with you when you leave.

Follow directions the first time they are given. Expectation #3 Follow directions the first time they are given.

Treat each person in this room with respect and dignity. Expectation #4 Treat each person in this room with respect and dignity.

Expectation #5 Follow all procedures and policies as outlined in the Rich East Student Planner Handbook.

Following Guidelines will result in: Verbal Acknowledgement A Stress free learning environment A pleasant and orderly classroom atmosphere

Not Following Guidelines will result in: 1st Warning and documentation 2nd Teacher/Student Conference, Parental Contact, 3rd Disciplinary Referral

Entering the room Please enter quietly (Leave the drama at the door) Have a seat Take out your materials Start your bellringer

Cell Phone Policy

You must be INSIDE the door when the bell rings What is Tardy????? You must be INSIDE the door when the bell rings

When you are tardy…. Get a Tardy Pass Politely knock on the door Hand me your pass Quietly sit down and pay attention to what is going on

Pencil Sharpening Sharpen at the beginning of class Once class has started, if you have to sharpen, GIVE ME TWO

Bathroom Emergencies If you have to pee, GIVE ME THREE

Blow nose / Throw away trash / Other If you have to leave your seat to blow your nose or any other reason GIVE ME FOUR

Class Football GPA Each class will compete to earn a party at the end of the quarter. Whatever class has the highest GPA will win!
