CHAPTER 16 Advertising Campaign Event Purpose The purpose of the Advertising Campaign Event is to prepare an advertising campaign of any length for a real product, service, company, or business for a prospective client/advertiser. Students must also present an appropriate budget for their proposed advertising campaign.

CHAPTER 16 Advertising Campaign Event Description This event can be completed by one to three students. You will prepare up to ten fact sheets in outline form. All members of the team must participate during the 15-minute presentation to the client/advertiser. Five minutes are allotted for the judge to ask questions about the presentation. Each participant must respond to at least one question posed by the judge.

CHAPTER 16 Advertising Campaign Event Scenario You will assume the role of advertising personnel with the goal of selling your idea to the judge (client/advertiser).

Analyze product information to identify product features and benefits. Set priorities and demonstrate effective time management. Demonstrate critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
