This was either:- Calculating 50%, 25%, 75% and 10% Calculating any percentage of an amount Increasing and decreasing by a percentage Calculating an original amount / reverse percentage questions Are you ready to try something more challenging? Make sure that you select the appropriate task and stay on task for the whole lesson. You must make sure that your answers are correct before changing tasks.

Task A - 50%, 25%, 75% and 10%

Task B - PERCENTAGE BUBBLES 90% 20% 25% 75% 100% 10% 5% 1% 120 50% 40% 80% 2% Work out 10% and then fill in the other bubbles

Work out 10% and then fill in the other bubbles 90% 20% 25% 75% 100% 10% 5% 1% 58 50% 40% 80% 2% Work out 10% and then fill in the other bubbles

Task C – Percentage Increase and Decrease

Task D - Reverse Percentages

Task D - Reverse Percentages 1. I buy an MP3 music player for £40 in a sale where it was 20% off. What was the original price of the MP3 player? 2. In a class there are 9 people absent with flu. This is 20% of the class. (a) How many are there in the class when no-one is off ill? (b) How many are in the class today? 3. If 50% is 75, what is 100%? 4. If 35% is 70, what is 100%? 5. Peter works in a shop and was told to increase the prices by 15%. He increased one price to £172.50. What was the original price? 6. In July, a miniature railway increased its prices by 25% to £1.50 and visitor numbers in August dropped by 8% to 5520: (a) What was the price in July? (b) How many visitors were there in July?
