“Reflection of some BCC related activities of NNS/IPHN”

CAT Assessment BCCP conducted e last assessment on SBCC capacity of the units.  Based on that assessment, Capacity Assessment Tool (CAT) report has been finalized . CAT  report sharing meeting was held on Monday April  25 , 2016 at  the IPNH, NNS, Mohakali, Dhaka-1212. Director, IPHN and Line Director, NNS presided over the meeting . Timing and Comparative Scores The first assessments were conducted in July 2012 –quantatitive The second assessment was done in September 2013- qualatative and quantitative The third assessment was done in August 2015 -qualitative and quantitative Comparative Scores : Unit SBCC – Total 4 KM-Total 4 July 2012 Sept 2013 Aug 2015 IPHN 1.80 2.00 3.21 1.30 1.57 2.62

“Behavioral Change Communication” Short Training on “Behavioral Change Communication” To effectively implement BCC activities of the NNS OP, a BCC team was formed at IPHN/NNS. As a part of the technical assistance provided by BKMI to strengthen the capacity of the BCC team, a three- day long short training on BCC organized for the professionals of IPHN related to BCC activities. “Short Training on “Behavioral Change Communication (BCC)”, schedule on May 31st to June 02, 2016. 10 participants from IPHN attended in the training and successfully accomplished this training and awarded by certificate.

Sharing Digital resource in the M& E Training IPHN/NNS organized Training on Monitoring and Evolution for UH&FPO and UFPO is going on in the IPHN/NNS . In the training deliberately share “Digital Resources” ( eToolkit , Digital Archive and e-learning ) for  Program Mangers for strengthening SBCC activities at the District and Upa-zilla Level. UH&FPO and UFPO find e-Toolkit very effective toll for SBCC

Digital Resources-SBCC Shared GO letter with an approval from Director General of Health Services and Director General of Family Planning, MOHFW for use of “Digital Resources” ( eToolkit , Digital Archive and e-learning ) for  Program Mangers and  Field Workers for strengthening SBCC activities at the District and Upa-zilla Level . Hard copy of this letter already sending to you all 64  Civil Surgeons and Deputy Directors , FP  and  485 Upa-zilla Health and Family Planning officers and Upazilla Family Planning officers for your information and necessary use..  “Digital Resources” developed with support from USAID, BKMI project in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh.
