UC Davis International Travel Policy Around 1,000 UC Davis travelers (at any given time) ~50 travelers in high-risk locations (at any given time) 30,000 trips annually ALL INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL ON UNIVERSITY BUSINESS MUST BE REGISTERED Travel booked via Connexxus/AggieTravel is automatically registered Manual registration takes one minute or less Failure to register travel may result in delay or forfeiture of reimbursement TRAVEL TO HIGH-RISK DESTINATIONS IS SUBJECT TO REVIEW Graduate and undergraduate travel to “High Threat” destinations is subject to review Faculty and staff travel to “Very High Threat” destinations is subject to review

Travel Advisory Committee Membership: UC Davis International Travel Policy Travel Advisory Committee Membership: Global Affairs (Travel Security Manager), Safety Services (Risk Management, EH&S), Campus Counsel, Office of Research, Information Security, Academic Senate (as necessary), school / college representative (as necessary), subject matter / country / regional expert (as necessary) Review Process: Travel Security Manager Review If approved, proceed to travel If not approved / concerns not adequately mitigated Travel Advisory Committee Review If approved, proceed to travel If not approved / concerns not adequately mitigated VPAC-Global Affairs, AVC-Safety Services, Campus Counsel, EAVC-Research Administration, and Academic Senate rep. review If approved, proceed to travel If not approved / concerns not adequately mitigated Provost/EVC makes final determination
