Training Format Always a combination of classroom with hands on experiences in auditing. Typically based on the most prevalent or extensive audit in use of that species/industry segment.

Auditor Certification Qualify for certification with the required education and experience Attend a PAACO Certification Course Complete and pass the exam Complete shadow audits with a certified auditor Submit shadow audits and code of conduct for approval Once approved, you will be listed as an auditor at animalauditor.org We have an app as well!

Auditor Recertification Annual recertification required to maintain certification First year after training while completing shadow audits, there are no Continuing Education requirements. One year from the date you are certified, you must apply for recertification (you will receive an email reminder ~45 days prior. Recertification will be approved, if you have completed the Continuing Education requirements: 12 hours of contact time of relevant classes, seminars, or meetings Courses or training approved by PAACO (on line &/or in person) Can include up to four (4) hours with another PAACO auditor while conducting audits
