What are sound devices in literature? It is the sounds that the writer chooses when he is writing. Certain sounds get our attention or draw certain emotions. Alliteration Rhyme Repetition Rhythm

What are those things? What is alliteration? It’s the repetition of consonant sounds. What is rhyme? It’s words that have the same ending sound. What is repetition? It’s when words or groups of words are used over again. What is rhythm? It’s the beat of the poem, just like music has a beat.
