Subject Selection Miami Sunset Senior High School 9th grade Presentation

Graduation Requirements 24 credits English I, II, III, IV Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra 2, 4th Math Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry or Physics World History, United States History, Economics and American Government 1.0 Performing/Fine Arts/Practical Arts/Career & Technical Education .5 Personal Fitness .5 Physical Education Take and pass one online course (excluding Driver Ed) If you are planning on attending a university you will need 2 years of a foreign language Community Service Hours – non profit organization Pass the 10th grade FCAT Reading Pass Algebra I EOC and take EOC Geometry, Biology and US History 2.00 GPA If you score low on the FCAT Reading you will be AUTOMATICALLY PLACED in Intensive Reading and an elective will be taken away. If you score low on the FCAT Math you will be AUTOMATICALLY PLACED in Intensive Math.
