Year 10 Subject Selection – Geography of Human Wellbeing

Course Description This unit focuses on investigating global, national and local differences in how people live and their overall wellbeing. You will look at the different measures we use to determine human wellbeing such as life expectancy at birth, population density and infant mortality rates. Students will look at the ways the world can help narrow the gaps in wellbeing world wide. Case studies will be drawn from Australia and other countries in Asia and world wide.
