What do students need to know? Read your grade level standards Purposeful Private Reasoning Time Articulate what your students need to know in 50 words or less by the end of the year Compare your work with your grade level teams Craft a collaborative statement together Document your thinking on the poster paper

What is the same and different across the grade levels? Analyze the poster What do you notice? What do you wonder? Pay attention to the similarities What make your grade level unique?

How are the standards structured? Importance of Coherence in Mathematics (Video) As you watch the video reflect on your understanding of how math progresses. What connections are you making?
