Introduction Thank you for taking the time to be here. Today I will be talking about my under the sea story using Scratch Jr.

Some Scratch Jr. Commands Move – Moves a character along the X or Y axis Hide – Makes a character invisible Show – Makes a character visible Wait –Pauses the program for a specified time When – Starts an event in Scratch Jr. Move – moves a character a specified number of grid squares along the X or Y axis Hide – Makes a character invisible Show – Makes a character visible Wait – Makes the program pause for a specified time When – Starts an event in Scratch Jr.

First Thing I created a new project Next I selected the ocean background Then I added my characters and deleted the cat The first thing I did after opening Scratch Jr. was to create a new project Next I selected the ocean background Then I added my characters and deleted the cat

Characters Green Fish Character Yellow Fish Character Starfish Character Seahorse Character The next thing I did was add movement blocks to the characters. Green Fish I added start on green flag, slow movement, and move forward 19 spaces blocks. Yellow Fish I added start on green flag, fast movement, and move forward 19 spaces blocks. Next I placed the Starfish character start on green flag, slow movement, and rotate left and right, and a loop forever end block. Finally I added Seahorse character with start on green flag, medium movement, and move forward 19 spaces blocks.

Conclusion Programming can be fun I learned to add Characters in Scratch Jr. and make them move Thank you for your time. Programming can be fun and I enjoyed making my under the sea story in Scratch Jr.
