ISIT consists of 3 laboratories and 4 back offices. General managers of Lab1 and Lab2 are professors of Kyushu University. Each laboratory has 3 researchers, one of who is from the private company. In addition, university garduate students study as assistant researcher. Research Planning dept. deals with the contract, patent, technical consulting services. Project Promoting dept. invites and promotes governmental big projects. General Affairs dept. handles the personnel, budget and so on. Operating dept. engages in the publicity, exchange programs, guest treating. The numbers of workers is 26, but, including the assistants, it extends to about 40. ISIT makes the employment contract with the regular workers(red letter) on the single-year basis, aiming to motivate the improvement of researchers’ career.
