Presentation transcript:

Derwent Lower School Rabbits Class (year 1) decided that they were going to help Sludge River. We learned about the harmful effects of phosphates, and designed our own cleaning products that were “PHOSPHATE FREE!”

We brought cleaning product bottles in from home and looked at the ingredients. We were looking to see which products contained phosphates.

We gave our cleaning products some interesting names We gave our cleaning products some interesting names! We designed bottles called “Eco-Zap”, “Eco-Squeak”, and “Enviro-Wash”.

We learned that phosphates pollute rivers, killing fish and causing environmental damage. We really hope that Sludge River will flow with sparkling waters again soon!
