What THEMES is Thematic Network funded under 5th Framework Programme, Growth Start in 2000 3 years duration 31 participants Coordinated by DNV 11/17/2018

THEMES Objective To improve industrial safety and marine environmental protection, through support and development of a proactive safety culture. 11/17/2018

Activities to reach the objective Describing state-of-the-art, establishing a common framework, describing requirements and implementation strategies for improved knowledge on risk factors, identifying knowledge gaps and proposing further research to be carried out, and making available and disseminating present knowledge for safety assessments. The objective will be met by  describing state-of-the-art for aspects related to safety assessment including human factor issues,  establishing a common framework for safety assessment based on present standards,  describing requirements and implementation strategies for improved knowledge on risk factors,  identifying knowledge gaps and proposing further research to be carried out, and by  making available and disseminating present knowledge for safety assessments. 11/17/2018
