My Favorite Green Smoothie Ingredients 2 large handful of greens 1/2 cup frozen peaches 1/2 cup frozen pineapples 1/2 banana (frozen is best) 1 tbsp chia seed gel 2-3 cups cold water Raw Agave or Maple Syrup– to taste Lemon Juice – to taste Procedure Blend all ingredients until it’s the thickness that you like.  I like my smoothies to be rather thin.   Serve over ice.

Green Smoothie Cocktail This is the recipe that is modified from my favorite juice that my husband made for me constantly with our Jack Lalanne juicer.  Since I’m more now a person who likes to blend my fruit and veggies, I now make this in my Vitamix. Again, the apple and the orange (in my opinion) is what give this juice its flair.  This is the one that, to date, is my absolute favorite. Yeaeee!!!!! Ingredients 1 handful of kale, washed 1 handful of mixed greens 1 small stalk of celery washed 1 Oranges, peeled 1 Apple 1 Pear   Procedure Blend all ingredients until it’s the thickness that you like.  I like my smoothies to be rather thin.   Serve over ice. Enjoy over ice.

Green Smoothie Cocktail This is the recipe that my husband made for me constantly with our Jack Lalanne juicer that fell in love with.  The reason that I mentioned that particular juicer is because prior to it, I didn’t like fresh juice.  Store bought in a bottle was the way to for me. Anyhoo, when I finally found a juicer powerful enough for extract the juice from the fruit and veggies, I fell in love with this combination. The apple and the orange (in my opinion) is what give this juice its flair.  This is the one that, to date, is my absolute favorite. This can be made in a Vitamix. Yeaeee!!!!! Ingredients 1 Kale, handful, washed 2 Carrots, washed 1 small stalk Broccoli, washed 1 Oranges, peeled 1 Apple and 1 Pear   Procedure Juice the soft fruit, veggies first. Complete with the hard fruit, veggies. Enjoy over ice.

Carrot, Apple, Ginger Juice Ingredients 1 large carrot, washed (2 medium or 4 small – no baby carrots) 1 apple, washed 1 inch ginger, washed, unpeeled) Procedures  Juice ginger first. Then the carrot or apple. Because ginger is so small, this is to ensure that all of the juice in the ginger is removed. Best enjoyed over ice.

Mango Pineapple Banana Smoothie Ingredients 2 oranges ½ grapefruit 1 cup frozen mango 1 cup frozen pineapple 1 frozen banana 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds 2-4 cups water (depending on how deep you like it) 2 Tbsps lemon juice Agave Nectar or Maple Syrup TT   Procedure Blend all ingredients in a blender. Enjoy over ice, if desired.  I love the Mango Pineapple Banana island fruits blended together.
