“Liberalism” “a movement in Protestantism advocating a broad interpretation of the Bible, freedom from rigid doctrine and authoritarianism, etc.” It is simply a very loose and liberal attitude toward authority This same attitude now exists with many who would identify themselves as churches of Christ
